Certified as a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner in 1992. Graduated from RN program in 1982.
Debbie has over 20 years of experience working in an OBGYN office. During the last 15 years she has teamed with Dr Akerman.
Worked in the Labor & Delivery Department at St Joseph Hospital for 10 years.
As an Orange, CA laborist and pregnancy nurse, she specializes in counseling for contraception, STD screening, menopause management, infertility and providing bilingual care to patients.

Family Nurse Practitioner
Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from University of Phoenix in 2013 and received her Masters of Science in Nursing with distinction from United States University in 2024.
25 years experience in labor and delivery and postpartum care.
Experience working with high risk patients in Maternal Fetal Health at St. Joseph.
Lisa is committed to delivering holistic patient care with a strong focus on disease prevention.
She believes that delivering high-quality care combined with personalized guidance helps foster trusting and supportive relationships.
Lizette Nieves
Family Nurse Practitioner
Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Fullerton, in 2011

Spent over a decade in Labor & Delivery and postpartum care at UCLA Ronald Reagan in Westwood and PIH Health in Whittier, CA.
Received a Master of Science in Nursing with distinction from United States University, San Diego.
Lizette is passionate about women’s health and committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care while building genuine connections. With a strong foundation in Labor and Delivery, along with experience in both OB/GYN and urgent care, she is equipped to support women through all stages of life, empowering them with the knowledge and confidence to make informed health decisions.

Alexandra Pettus
DNP, FNP-C
Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Obtained her Master of Science in Nursing in Family Practice and Doctor of Nursing Practice from University of Alabama.
Brings extensive experience in women’s and children’s health, including labor and delivery, NICU, PICU, and pediatric hospital medicine.
Completed doctoral work focused on Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), with an emphasis on lifestyle-based interventions and improving long-term health outcomes for women.
Alexandra is committed to delivering holistic, patient-centered care with a strong focus on disease prevention. Guided by her personal faith, she strives to care for each patient with compassion, dignity, and love while fostering trusting and supportive relationships.
